NURSING HOMES

As part of the national Nursing Home Quality Initiative, Lumetra is Medicare's Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) for California. We offer training events, tools, and resources to help nursing homes improve selected quality measures and assist facilities transition from an institutional to a person-centered model of care.

Aging Services of California (formerly CAHSA)
Aging Services of California is the state’s leading advocate for quality senior living and care. The public-interest association represents more than 400 nonprofit providers of aging services – including affordable housing, continuing care retirement communities, assisted living, skilled nursing, and home and community-based care – that collectively serve more than 80,000 seniors.
California Association of Health Facilities 
The California Association of Health Facilities (CAHF) is a non-profit professional association founded in 1950 to serve as a statewide organization for long-term care providers. The Association and its members are dedicated to improving the quality of long-term healthcare in California through educational programs and proactive advocacy with the Legislature and administrative agencies.
California Hospital Association 
The California Hospital Association is the statewide leader representing the interests of hospitals and health systems in California. CHA includes nearly 450 hospital and health system members, and more than 150 executive, associate and personal members.
