DOQ-IT PROGRAM
Sponsored by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the Doctor’s Office Quality − Information Technology (DOQ−IT) program is an electronic health records (EHRs) adoption and implementation project for primary care physician practices. Lumetra currently works with over 250 California practices to promote the use of health information technology (HIT) as a means to improve patient care.
These practices receive no-cost, expert assistance to adopt, implement, and optimize EHRs. The DOQ-IT program concentrates on adoption of HIT, performance measurement and reporting, operations analysis and process redesign, and preventive and chronic care management. Enrollment for the DOQ-IT program is closed.
